Do you do self talk resulting in Stinkin' Thinkin'?


Questions you need to ask yourself:

  • When you self talk, are you using positive self talk or are you telling yourself things like, I am no good, I can't win, that person is a looser, I hate that person,  I hate my job or are you using positive self talk like
  • When someone says something do you take it in a negative or a positive way?
  • If you think someone has said something that you feel is hurtful, do you ask what the person to explain the statement or do you just get mad?

Philippians 4:8  "Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - - - thing about such things."


The Bible has many examples of how we are to think. Paul tells us to take every thought captive. Why? Because if we don't, it sets us up for wrong and destructive thought patterns.  Don't corrupt your mind by allowing Stinkin' Thinkin' to enter in.
